The Fort Collins Marriott is centrally located in Fort
Collins. It offers guest rooms at a conference rate of $102/night.
Reservations should be confirmed by August 24, 2010. Conference
attendees must make their own room reservation and may receive a special
rate of $102 (single/double occupancy) by referencing “Raptor
Research Foundation Conference.” Call 1-800-342-4398.
Alternative
Accommodations Additionally, there are room blocks set up under the same reference name
at the Comfort Suites. The Comfort Suites Fort Collins is only 2.5 miles
from the Marriott and is offered as alternative lodging to attendees who
might be traveling on a budget. The all-suite hotel includes access to
an indoor heated pool and hot tub, free wireless internet,100%smoke
free, all rooms include a refrigerator and microwave and pull out sofa
sleeper. Included in the rate of $62.50/night is a deluxe continental
breakfast complete with a waffle bar and rotating hot egg and meat items
each morning. For those people traveling on a tight

Meals During the Meeting
The registration fee includes: coffee breaks,
the Wednesday night Ice Breaker
Reception, and the Thursday night
Poster Reception;
both will include a cash bar and hors’d oeuvres.
Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are not
included in the registration fee, but the Marriott has a full service
restaurant and lounge and there are several other excellent restaurants
within walking distance: Chili’s, Young’s Vietnamese Cuisine,
Panera Bread Co., Copper Creek Restaurant –
Marriott, Starbucks, Foothills Mall, Albertson’s grocery store.
Conference attendees are encouraged to attend
the optional Friday night Party, the
Saturday night
Cocktail, Silent Auction
followed by the
Banquet/Social
at the Marriott. The buffet will accommodate
carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores alike. |
